Orford Mining is a gold and critical mineral explorer focused on highly prospective and underexplored areas of Northern Quebec. Orford’s principal assets are the Qiqavik, West Raglan and lithium exploration projects comprising a land package totaling over 111,000 hectares in the Cape Smith Belt of Northern Quebec and the Joutel Eagle Gold project in the Abitibi of Quebec. The Qiqavik Project hosts several new high-grade gold discoveries along a mineralized trend in excess of 40 km. The West Raglan Project hosts a number of high-grade Raglan-style nickel/copper/platinum group metal discoveries along a 55 km mineralized trend. In early 2023 Orford acquired large claim blocks targeting lithium in the Nunavik Region. These lithium claim blocks have been carefully selected as having promising lithium potential after an exhaustive compilation of available data. Orford also has four property positions in the Joutel region of the Abitibi District of Northern Quebec, which hosts historical deposits such as the Eagle/Telbel, Joutel Copper, Poirier Copper, and Vezza deposits. Orford continually seeks new gold exploration opportunities in North America. Orford’s common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ORM.

What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?
I would like to gain broader investor exposure to the excellent projects Orford has in its portfolio. I am looking for both gold and critical mineral investors. Yes we are currently working on a raise. We have a very active summer of exploration work coming up with our first exploration program on our 455 sq km lithium projects and a 45-60 RAB drill hole program on our 402 sq km Qiqavik project and the remainder of the results from our successful Joutel Eagle Drill program this past winter.

What are your key goals in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months?
3 Months:
We want to successful drill the source of the high grade surface gold showings at Qiqavik and explore the new lithium properties delineating lithium bearing spodumene pegmatites potentially with a RAB drill hole.
6 Months:
Commence work on the resource drilling at Joutel Eagle
12 Months:
Commence a drill program on our Nunavik Lithium projects and our Qiqavik Gold projects.
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
The biggest challenge for a junior exploration company is always financing. With Alamos Gold a supportive shareholder and with Wyloo Metals earning into our West Raglan project we have helped limit the amount of funds required to finance our exploration work on our projects.
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
We have a new gold district at Qiqavik in Quebec, with camp scale potential. Our JV at West Raglan with Wyloo metals is one of the best nickel sulphide exploration projects in the world sitting next door to two world class nickel mines. Orfords new Nunavik Lithium properties have some of the highest lithium numbers in lake bottom sediments in Quebec and known pegmatites mapped by the government of Quebec and have seen no previous exploration. And lastly our Joutel Eagle Project’s South Gold Zone drilling has progressed very well with continuity in grade and thickness and we believe on our way to a resource by spring of 2024.
