Tim Livesey – Chief Executive Officer

Tim has 28 years’ experience in gold and base metals, with a distinct focus on Africa, Europe and Asia. He has worked at all stages of exploration, development and mining, and has a strong track record of delivery, both at the technical and commercial level within previous positions. Some of his more notable roles to date include exploration manager (Eurasia), Barrick Gold Corp., project director and later CEO of Tethyan Copper Company Pty Ltd (a Joint Venture between Antofagasta Minerals and Barrick Gold Corp, owner of the Reko Diq project in Pakistan), and more recently as COO of TSX.V-listed Reservoir Minerals Inc., which was sold in June 2016 to TSX-listed Nevsun Resources Ltd for US$365 million. Tim joined the company in March 2018.

What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?

Following the Company’s recent Board-level changes and associated re-brand, it is looking to engage with both new and existing private and institutional investors on its exciting exploration portfolio in West Africa, which will deliver the majority of news flow for the Company over the 6-9 months.

What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?

The Company anticipates being in receipt of initial RC drilling results for the Dalafin gold Project in Senegal, where IAMGOLD is earning up to a 70% interest by spending up to US$8M. It also hopes to confirm first results from the Bibemi gold project in Cameroon.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Following a shareholder requisition last year, the Company’s share price struggled to recover. However, a refocus on earlier-stage exploration, a complete change in the Board of Directors and our recent re-brand has begun to restore market sentiment. We hope this will will continue as we enter a period of increased news flow.
