Sarama Resources is a Burkina Faso focused gold explorer and developer whose main project interests are centred 330km SW of Ouagadougou. The company has two adjoining projects in the southern Houndé Belt and a very prospective exploration project in the adjacent Banfora Belt.
The two Houndé Belt projects cover 1,400km² and host ~2.5Moz of gold between them and together, these projects are key to development of the region. Sarama is committed to advancing them through to production.

Mining engineer, 20+ years experience. Formerly VP Operations and Development at Moto Goldmines and managed pre-feasibility, bankable and definitive feasibility studies for the +20Moz Project. Has held senior operational and management positions with Gold Fields and WMC Resources.
What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
The rationale is to communicate the revised position of the comany which has had several major strategic changes over the course of 2018 and now has visibility to mine development and production. The company intends to list on the ASX in 2019 and is seeking to broaden and deepen its shareholder base.
What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?
The resolution of ownership on the South Hounde Project taking ownership to 100% allowing amalgamation with the company’s adjoining 100% owned project.

Key challenge is the capital markets as it will restrict funding for exploration and development when the company is well positioned to move its main projects forward

The company has alot of optionality, from both development and exploration point of views and the company’s primary assets in the southern Hounde belt are in a position to be moved up the development curve. Furthermore, the comany controls a large and well endowed land position in the most prolific gold belt in Burklina Faso
