Julian Stephens – Managing Director

Dr Stephens is a Geologist with over 20 years experience in mineral exploration across many commodity types, and has spent 10 years working on minerals projects in Malawi.
Julian identified, secured and led the team that discovered the Malawian tenement package.

Sam Cordin – Business Development Manager

Mr Cordin is an experienced Chartered Accountant who commenced his career at a large international accounting firm and has since been involved with a number of ASX and AIM listed exploration and development companies operating in the resources sector, including most recently Salt Lake Potash Limited.

Sovereign Metals is seeking to promote and inform the broader investor community about its exciting potential to host a new rutile province capable of supplying commercial specification at a time of decreasing global supply.

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?

3 Months:
Exploration target at one or multiple targets
Continued regional soil sampling to identify new rutile targets
Commencement of desktop studies to assess applicability of different mining methods
Continued metallurgical test-work to confirm the flowsheet developed so far and produce rutile product for marketing purposes

6 Months:
Maiden Mineral Resource(s) across one or multiple prospects currently being explored

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Both the Company’s project (rutile) and location (Malawi) are not well known in the investor community. Sovereign is actively educating and increasing awareness around the benefits of operating in Malawi and the strong market fundamentals of natural rutile.

In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?

Sovereign has the huge potential to host a new, globally significant rutile province in Malawi, as the supply of natural rutile shifts into structural deficit.
