Benjamin has more than a decade worth of experience in supply chain sustainability, specifically ethical trade, responsible sourcing and implementation of the UN Guiding principles for Business and Human Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals in Africa.
Currently he is the Executive Director of Partner Africa where he is responsible for spearheading their research, consulting, training and auditing work across the 42 African countries they work in.
Benjamin has personally worked in 15 African countries, and lived in Zimbabwe, Kenya, South Sudan and South Africa (where is he currently based). He has worked with numerous multinationals such as the Coca Cola Company, Diageo, Walmart, Unilever, ABInBev, Heineken, World Bank and AngloAmerican. Services have included supporting training of African suppliers, carrying out in depth research into forced labour, child labour and land rights, investigation and remediation into human rights violations in supply chains and developing strategies for ongoing monitoring.
