Management Profile

James Croser – Managing Director
Delta’s Managing Director, James Croser, is an experienced industry executive having worked in Western Australian mining operations, management & corporate roles for the last 30 years. James is a Mining Engineer by trade and co-founded Delta Lithium in 2020, after a successful stint as Executive Director with Spectrum Metals Ltd. He continues to lead the Company as it strives to develop its exciting package of WA assets.

What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?

Delta is entering an exciting phase as our high-grade gold asset at the Mt Ida Project develops into a real growth story. The potential of a valuable gold mining opportunity to compliment our developing Lithium assets at Mt Ida and Yinnetharra, will only serve to de-risk and strengthen the future of the Company in the critical minerals space. Delta is looking for unique relationships to help build & support a strong market position over the long term.

What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?

September 2024 – Delta Lithium appoints financial advisor, Bell Potter, to undertake strategic review of Mt Ida gold opportunity

August 2024 – Exploration update for Yinnetharra Lithium Project and Mt Ida Lithium and Gold Project

June 2024 – Major update to Mt Ida gold resource – 6.6Mt @ 3.5g/t Au for 752,000 ounces

What are your key goals in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months?

3 Months:
Crystallise our strategy regarding the gold at Mt Ida

6 Months:
Complete early study work at Yinnetharra, so as to enable a more accurate picture of the development profile of this lithium asset

12 Months:

Be zeroing-in on the pathway to a Final Investment Decision at either Mt Ida or Yinnetharra

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

The current lithium market has been challenging, mainly due to softer EV demand in the United States and Europe. We know that such a rapidly emerging market is going to present volatility as supply and demand forces throughout the entire battery supply chain work their way into balance. However, we are steadfast in our belief and confident in the long-term fundamentals of the EV sector. The EV market and energy transition are still in their early stages, but so too is Delta. We need to take a long-term view and continue to move forward to unlock shareholder value.

What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?

o Exciting JORC resources at both projects with significant resource growth opportunity
o Potential value from gold assets
o Strong balance sheet and strategic shareholders
o Fully leveraged to a rebounding lithium market
o Well positioned for corporate opportunities

What are the top 3 key investor takeaways?

o Exploration results incoming and JORC resource updates
o Mining and metallurgy studies progressing
o Moving toward monetising gold to fund growth
