Gold79 is a southwest US precious metals explorer with 3 projects in 2 of the top mining jurisdictions in the world, Arizona and Nevada. All 3 projects have over 100 historic drill holes that have returned economic grades within multi-kilometer geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Our focus, has been our Gold Chain project Arizona, where we recently drilled 9.1m at 51.09 g/t Au and extended the Tyro target to nearly one kilometer of strike length. Additionally, our Jefferson Canyon project, where historic drilling returned 41.2m at 6.4 g/t Au and 402 g/t Ag, is under option to Kinross who operate the neighboring Round Mountain mine.

Derek Macpherson – President, CEO and Director
Mr. Macpherson brings technical and capital markets experience to the Gold79 team. He has a Bachelor of Engineering and Management in Materials Science (Metallurgy) from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. He most recently was Senior Vice President, Investment Banking at Red Cloud Securities Inc. and formerly was Vice President, Mining Analyst at Red Cloud. Prior to completing his MBA, he worked for six years as a metallurgist. For the last 10 years, he has worked in capital markets, primarily in mining equity research and for the most part covering junior mining companies. For the last five years, his primary role at Red Cloud has been building the mining research practice; however, during the early days of Red Cloud, while helping to build the business he gained experience in banking, sales, and marketing.
What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?
Our objective is to meet new investors, both those who participate in financings and those that buy in the market. Gold79 is relatively unknown, so are main objective is to introduce it to new people.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
The current financing market has made it difficult to keep the company funded while advancing it projects. We are working through this by divesting non-core assets and looking at creative ways to advance our core projects.
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
All three of our Nevada assets could easily justify our current market cap (if not more) and all have exploration upside, in great jurisdictions. Management believes this and has invested a significant portion of their own money in the company, now owning 19.5%.
