What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Our key risks and challenges are market exposure. GSRI is a newly listed company and has limited exposure to markets. However, we are addressing this by travelling to multiple conferences and pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy that is composed of social media, video and in-person investor outreach

What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?

Golden Shield is a rare opportunity in a saturated junior exploration market. A compelling resource investment is based on three factors: the jurisdiction, the team, and the project. Golden Shield is focused on gold exploration in Guyana, in northeastern South America. Guyana has a rich history of bauxite and gold mining, and an established mining act. Importantly, oil was discovered in Guyana in 2015. This has had a transformational effect on the country’s economy, with GDP increasing in 2020 by 43.48 % (IMF). This newfound wealth is expected to be redistributed across the country, including an estimated US$30 Billion investment in country-wide infrastructure (Guyana Office for Investment – Rapid Economic Growth). With this fact, GSRI, believes now is the time to be operating in Guyana.
