Aeris Resources is an established copper mining and exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: AIS) and headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland.
Aeris Resources’ flagship asset, the Tritton Copper Operations in New South Wales, produced 26,852 tonnes of copper in FY2019 and is targeting production of 24,500 tonnes in FY2020. Tritton includes multiple underground mines (Tritton and Murrawombie) and a 1.8 million tonne per annum processing plant. The Company holds 70% of the promising Torrens Exploration Project (Torrens) in South Australia. Torrens is defined by a coincident magnetic and gravity anomalous zone with a footprint larger than Olympic Dam.
Andre Labuschagne – Executive Chairman
He has held various executive roles in South Africa, PNG, Fiji and Australia for a number of leading gold companies, including Emperor Gold Mines, DRD Gold and AngloGold Ashanti. Previously as the Managing Director of ASX-listed gold company Norton Gold Fields Limited, Mr Labuschagne led the company’s growth to a significant Australian gold producer, prior to its sale to a major Chinese gold company in 2012.
Mr Labuschagne holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Potchefstroom University in South Africa.

What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?
Aeris Resources’ Tritton copper operations continues to produce consistently – production forecasts were increased three times during 2019 – with cash costs held at the same levels. The company has had some good exploration results during the year. Electromagnetic surveys at Tritton have identified 25 new anomalies on the northern part of the tenement package and nine of these have been identified as high-priority targets. Drilling at the Kurrajong prospect resulted in an Exploration Target of 3 – 4 million tonnes at 1.5% – 2.0% copper being defined.
What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
Key goals over the next 12 months include:
• Tritton Copper Operations – copper production for FY20 of 24,500 tonnes
• Greenfields exploration at Tritton – drilling of 9 high priority EM anomalies
• Continuing to look for value-adding acquisition opportunities (focus on copper, other base metals and gold).
