Copper discoveries nearby to Torrens have delivered unequivocally commercial copper discoveries.
Torrens is in true elephant country, as evidenced by:
– BHP’s Oak Dam West discovery of Nov 2019 – 427m at 3% copper, including 180m at 6% copper; and
– Olympic Dam – >10 billion tonnes at 0.78% copper.
The Torrens gravity anomaly covers a very large area and contains 28 individual targets within the broader anomaly.
