Paul Atherley – Chairman
Atherley leverages extensive experience as a senior resources executive with expertise of international and capital markets. He obtained his education as a mining engineer from Imperial College London and proceeded to hold a number of mine management, senior executive and board positions throughout his career. He served as Executive Director of the investment banking arm of HSBC Australia where he undertook a range of advisory roles in the resources sector. In his career, he undertook a number of successful acquisitions and financings of resource projects in Europe, China, Australia, and Asia.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
Pensana currently has no source of operating cash flow, has not recorded any material revenues from its operations to date and, being primarily focused on the the Longonjo Project, an adverse development affecting progress could have a material adverse effect on the Company’s business.
Pensana has adopted a fast track, low capex project development approach to generate revenue enabled by the free-dig nature of mining, proximity to functioning infrastructure and a simple processing route to produce a saleable rare earth concentrate.
In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
We view Longonjo as potentially one of the world’s best rare earth mines located in a country with exceptional adjacent infrastructure and a supportive government, complimented by an excellent management team experienced in Africa.
