Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. is a well-financed, emerging precious metals company with district scale, advanced, high grade gold assets in one of the world’s newest, politically stable mining jurisdictions: Nunavut, Canada.
Sabina released a Feasibility Study on its 100% owned Back River Gold Project which presents a project that has been designed on a fit-for purpose basis, with the potential to produce ~200,000 ounces a year for ~11 years with a rapid payback of 2.9 years (see “Technical Report for the Initial Project Feasibility Study on the Back River Gold Property, Nunavut, Canada” dated October 28, 2015). What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
We are looking to meet with traditional resource focused investors as well as more generalist investors from institutions, family offices or high net worth individuals.
What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
EPC contract (fixed price bid and performance guarantee on our mill and truck shop) by the end of Q3, 2019. Continued project updates
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
Investor sentiment. Our debt package has been well advanced, but equity is the challenge at the moment. We do not want to take a financial risk by raising equity if the market will not reward us for executing and delivering (ie: no re-rating). We are waiting for the most opportune time to launch project financing.
In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
Large, high grade, advanced, district scale gold project, in a good jurisdiction, with relevant gold production and robust economics that is shovel ready. Not many of us around.
