Heliostar (TSX V: HSTR) (OTCBB:HSTXF) is an exploration focused junior with a portfolio of high-grade gold projects in Alaska and Mexico.
The flagship project, Unga, is an expansive gold project in Alaska. Roughly three times the size of Manhattan and hosted on two islands, its three major gold corridors hold many high-grade gold showings. It also boasts Alaska’s first underground gold mine, Apollo, which produced at more than 10 g/t grade over its life.
The company plans to drill the Centennial showing in 2022. Located on Popof Island, Centennial is a shallow, flat-lying gold anomaly. Drilling in the late 1980’s encountered anomalous gold (>0.2 ppm) in 43 of 59 holes, the majority of which are within 60 metres of the surface. The current drill plan will target gold feeder zones interpreted from the 2021 geophysical survey.
The Unga project currently has a 384,000-ounce resource at 13.8 g/t at the SH-1 showing. The Company’s 2021 drill program hit high-grade gold around the old Apollo mine and at its new Aquila discovery.
Heliostar boasts top-tier assets and a team of proven mine-finders. Unga is a world class project with proven high-grade gold mineralization and enormous potential.
