Spartan Resources is focused on delivering high-grade ounces at its flagship Dalgaranga Gold Project as the foundation for a sustainable long-term operating plan that will deliver strong returns for all key stakeholders.
Leveraging off the modern infrastructure at the Dalgaranga site, which includes a fully established and self-contained gold mine, >2.5mtpa carbon-in-leach processing facility, camp accommodation and airstrip, the Company is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy driven by near-mine exploration.
The current focus of this strategy is drilling targeting extensions at depth and along strike of the high-grade 721,200oz Never Never Gold Deposit.

Simon Lawson, Executive Chairman (Interim) –
Simon Lawson is a broadly experienced geologist and corporate executive with 18yrs experience predominantly in high-grade structurally complex gold and base metal systems.
Mr Lawson says he has built a career working at good resource projects with great people. From the high-grade Cosmos Nickel Project with Jubilee Mines crafting an extensive understanding of complex narrow-vein mineralization, early Silver Lake Resources making discoveries and tripling the life of mine at Daisy Milano Gold Mine, and in 2010 joining Mr Bill Beament at early Northern Star Resources on a six year “thrill ride” as the company grew from a single unloved asset to a multi-mine multi-billion dollar gold mining juggernaut.
More recently Mr Lawson formed his own team in pursuit of a new transformative gold story mixing drilling and discovery with shuttering mining operations, recapitalising, rebranding before building the A$1B market cap gold developer, Spartan Resources.
Simon pays tribute to the influential people he has met along the way to his focus on creating and backing good teams, maintaining nimble and decisive strategy and an ever-present mindset to always drill like there is no tomorrow!
