Stavely Minerals Limited (ASX:SVY) is a mineral exploration company targeting high-grade structurally controlled copper-gold mineralisation as well as porphyry mineralisation at the Stavely Project, in western Victoria.
In September 2019, Stavely Minerals made a copper-gold-silver discovery at the Cayley Lode at the Thursday’s Gossan prospect. The current mineral resource is 9.3Mt at 1.2% Cu, 0.23g/t Au and 7.1g/t Ag.
The Company is currently looking to drill test other prospective positions and extend the Lode-style mineralisation while also seeking a partner to target a causative porphyry at depth.
Stavely Minerals also owns the Hawkstone nickel Project in the West Kimberley of WA. The project contains +30km of the highly prospective Ruins Dolerite with recent discoveries by near neighbours along strike.

Christopher Cairns – Executive Chair and Managing Director
Christopher Cairns completed a First Class Honours degree in Economic Geology from the University of Canberra in 1992. Mr Cairns has extensive exploration and mine development experience having worked for BHP Minerals in Queensland and the Philippines, Aurora Gold in Borneo, LionOre in WA and Sino Gold in China.

Mr Cairns is best known as the former Managing Director of Integra Mining Limited having taken Integra from successful WA gold explorer to producer. In January 2013, Integra was taken over by Silver Lake Resources Limited for $426 million.

Mr Cairns is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, a Member of JORC, is the Chair of the Australian Prospectors and Miner’s Hall of Fame, is Non-Executive Chair of E79 Gold Mines (ASX:E79) and is Executive Chair and Managing Director of Stavely Minerals Limited (ASX:SVY).

What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?

Stavely Minerals is seeking to introduce investors to the Stavely Copper Project and the Hawkstone Nickel Project. Stavely Minerals is only interested in discussions with potential equity investors and is not interested in hybrid finance such as equity draw-down facilities or convertible notes.

3 Months:
Recommence field programmes with regional targets, near-resource targets and resource extension opportunities to be drill tested

6 Months:
commence on-ground exploration at the Hawkstone Nickel Project with moving loop EM, soil sampling in areas of soil cover and drilling

12 Months:

Make another copper porphyry discovery and a magmatic nickel discovery
