Mr. Ranjan is a management professional with an MBA in Finance from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. His background includes over 25 years experience in diverse areas of finance, capital markets, entrepreneurship and investing. He is a co-founder of Gravitas Group of companies and his experience encompasses working in senior executive roles, both in Canada and India. Mr. Ranjan has been involved in launching several public and private enterprises in the areas of capital markets and growth investing. He currently serves on the boards of several public and private companies.
What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?
The Management of the Company believes that Vortex Metals has one of the most exciting advance stage exploration projects, which are drill ready with high probability of exploration success. We are fully funded for stage one drilling. We are looking to raise the profile of the company through investors’ outreach and to get market support. We also anticipate a capital raise within 6 to 12 months as we advance the exploration and drilling activities.

What are your key goals in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months?
3 Months:
Advance the permitting process.
Streamline community engagement to obtain strong local community support
Engage in further exploration activities that can enhance existing drill targets and find additional drill targets
Build a strong foundation for raising corporate profile and investor outreach.
6 Months:
Establish strong foundation for local operations in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico
Complete all necessary work and Obtain drill permits
Continue to build strong relationship with local communities
Obtain listing for Vortex Shares on the OTCQB and Frankfurt Exchanges
Build a strong network of loyal investors and, continue an extensive investor outreach program
12 Months:
Commence first phase of drilling on highly prospective drill targets
Engage in further exploration activities including trenching, sampling and other geological studies to identify additional prospective areas to drill on both projects

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
The key challenge for Vortex Metals is getting permits to drill. Permitting process can take longer than anticipated. We are mitigating this challenge by seeking strong community support. We have hired an expert community relations expert, who has been engaging with land owner and user communities for several months now. So far we have received good support and believe that we will be able to complete all necessary tasks to obtain drill permits..
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
The projects owned by Vortex Metals have probably one of the best exploration potential..these projects were curated by famous geologist, late David Jones, who was credited with the discovery of Los Filos Mine, one of the largest gold and silver mines in Mexico. He worked on these projects for almost 10 years, alongside strong technical experts, such as Dr James (Jim) Franklin, a renowned VMS expert. It is rare for early stage exploration companies to have such strong probability of exploration success. The Company has a strong maangement team with experienced professionals on both business as well as technical sides. The risk reward ratio from exploration activities is very favorablefor investors. All the necessary work has been done and several highly prospective drill targets are just ready to be drilled. The valuation of the company is very low and investors are getting a rare opportunity to become part of an exciting process that can lead to a major resource discovery. When that happens, the reward for investors could be many fold increase in valuation of their shares from these levels.
