Jeffrey Pontius – CEO & President
Jeff Pontius has worked in the mining industry for over 35 years primarily in the exploration sector. He has lead the discovery and development work on five North American gold deposits including the world class discoveries at Cripple Creek in Colorado & Livengood in Alaska, culminating in the development of over 40M oz. gold. Jeff has held senior management positions with AngloGold, Minorco, Nerco as well as the founder and CEO of International Tower Hill Mines until his retirement in 2011. He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Idaho, School of Mines, in Economic Geology, a BSc from Huxley College in Environmental Science and a BSc from Western Washington University in Geology.
What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
To raise awareness of an advanced junior exploration Company focused in an emerging district within a safe, mining friendly jurisdiction. Adjacent properties include major operators such as AngloGold Ashanti, Kinross Gold and Coeur Mining.

On Aug. 20, 2019, the Company completed a financing with AngloGold Ashanti for $1.3M CAD at a price of $2.60/share. Upon completion of the financing, AngloGold Ashanti now owns 19.9% of the Company’s issued and outstanding shares.
What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
Over the next several months and till early next year, continued exploration of both the North Bullfrog and Mother Lode projects have been funded. An updated PEA is expected in the early half of 2020.
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
The price of gold and the lack of available funding for future financing are key risks that is always a risk for the junior exploration sector. By continuing to find new discoveries, the Company can drive value to shareholders regardless of the price of gold, and having the backing of key strategic shareholders willing to finance the Company has alleviated much of the risk associated in junior exploration.
