Mr Paul Poli, Executive Chairman, Bachelor of Commerce, FCPA
Paul completed a bachelor degree at the University of Western Australia in 1984, and after gaining experience with Duesbuys Chartered Accountants, he became a partner in a private practice in 1989. Paul is a fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants he also holds a diploma in Financial Services and was a registered Securities Trader.
Paul has considerable experience in general management/business, contract negotiations, taxation, corporate and business advisory.
After some 22 years’ experience in advisory services, Paul founded Matsa Resources Pty Ltd which has developed and become Matsa Resource Ltd, a prosperous and well-funded exploration company with a pipeline of quality projects in Australia and Thailand.
Paul has been the Executive Chairman of the Matsa Resources Ltd since the transformation from KBRL in 2009.
What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
Matsa is set to continue to produce gold over the remainder of 2018 and are looking to promote our gold production story to the market.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
Key risk is the A$ gold price. Ore sales contracts take advantage of improved price.
Challenges Produce gold ore which is readily treatable on favourable terms with nearby mills. Matsa has worked hard on current arrangements to nurture long term relationships
In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
We are a gold producer in the world class Laverton goldfield with a resource base of 479,900 oz gold and >600km2 of highly prospective exploration holdings
