GRL is focused on the development of projects containing critical minerals and green metals through ongoing exploration and development across its established tenement suite in central west NSW. Pursuing a multi-discovery strategy with a pipeline of near-term copper, gold and rare earth projects with low capital entry costs. Active exploration program in progress at the Narraburra REE project, targeting large scale rare earth and rare metals near Temora in Central West NSW, plus numerous copper and gold projects across tenement package provide optionality (512koz of gold in current resources).

Management Profile

Jeneta Owens – Managing Director

An experienced geologist with over 16 years of mining and exploration experience, working on a range of deposit styles and commodities within the metals industry. During her career, Ms Owens has undertaken senior exploration management roles with number of companies. For over a decade, her particular focus has been on porphyry copper-gold, epithermal gold and base metals exploration in NSW, leading exploration activities at Northparkes’ Cu-Au mine and Sandfire Resources’ NSW projects, adjacent Godolphin’s assets. Ms Owens also managed her own geological consultancy, conducting strategic planning, exploration management and project evaluation for junior explorers within NSW.

Ms Owens is a qualified geologist and member of both the AusIMM and AIG.

Provide updates on core copper and gold projects and introduce the rare earth side of the business as the new focus for GRL

What are your key goals in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months?

3 Months:

Receive assay results from diamond drilling program at Narraburra REE.
Complete 4000m aircore drilling program at Narraburra REE project.


6 Months:

Release reclassification of the existing mineral resource estimate to JORC 2012 standards for Narraburra REE. 
Results of mineralogical and metallurgical test work from Narraburra REE


12 Months:

Commence project scale metallurgical test work and flow sheet and commence mining feasibility study of Narraburra REE
Magnetic survey and drill out of Cyclops copper project near Yeoval

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Continued wet weather in eastern Australia due to La Nina events making access to exploration sites challenging.
