Kairos Minerals (ASX:KAI) is advancing to prefeasibility it’s 100% owned Mt York Gold Project in the Pilbara of Western Australia. A 20,000m drill program is underway to significantly increase the resource, undertake metallurgical test work, complete mining and process engineering studies to determine the viability and optimal pathway to develop a sustainable and long-lived mining project. Current resources are 28.01 MT @ 1.23 g/t Au for 1.1 Mozs and the resource remains constrained by relatively shallow drilling along its 3,000m strike length.
Kairos has also discovered spodumene pegmatites in close proximity to the Mt York Gold Project and is currently drilling a pegmatite swarm that is only 3km from Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangora Lithium-Tantalum Mine. Kairos has an enviable project spread across the Pilbara for gold and lithium, has a strong financial position and is led by an experienced team of geologists.

Kairos Minerals has ambitious plans to develop mineral projects up the value-chain from discoveries to operating mines. The Mt York Gold Project is currently our most advanced project that has real scale to become an operating gold mine in a Tier 1 location. We are looking for financing to accelerate our prefeasibility study and to drill other projects in the Pilbara that are showing huge promise. With a strong board focused on development of Mt York, we also have a strong focus on acquisitions in the gold and lithium space that may require additional capital.
