What is your rationale for attending 121 Oil & Gas Investment?
To bring awareness to potential future investors as we enter the drilling phase of the company’s evolution and look to new sources of capital and a possible future listing
What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?
Impact was involved in the Brulpadda discovery offshore South Africa in early 2019. Appraisal and further exploration planned in 2020.
Impact is due to spud the Venus-1 prospect offshore Namibia in 2020 on Block 2913B (operated by Total). Potentially transformational for the company as one of the largest prospects worldwide, if successful.
What are your key goals for the next 3,6 and 12 months?
secure further capital for the next year
Spud the Venus-1 well in Namibia and Luiperd well in South Africa
secure long term funding / liquidity to enable further appraisal drilling
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
failure of the exploration drilling on Venus but pressing on with the investment in Brulpadda to hopefully bring this discovery to fruition even if Venus-1 is unsuccessful
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
The company already has its first success in South Africa and the coming year will hopefully see this crystallise into an asset that underpins the value of the company whilst having massive upside potential in the near term exploration well in Namibia
