Trinity operates a portfolio of assets both onshore and offshore in Trinidad. It is a local oil producer of scale, supplying circa 5% of Trinidad’s total black oil production. 2018 2P reserves of 24.5 million barrels (mmbbls), 2C resources of 18.8 mmbbls, and production of c.3,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd). The short-term focus is on leveraging production and cash flow via an onshore development programme with a medium term opportunity to deliver the first phase of the Galeota development which has the potential to deliver standalone peak production rates in the range of 5,000 to 6,000 bopd.

Management Profile

Bruce Dingwall – Executive Chairman

Bruce has over thirty years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Bruce founded Trinity in 2005 with the acquisition of Venture Production Plc’s Trinidadian assets. Bruce founded Venture Production in 1997 around the central strategy of assisting the major operators in releasing value from assets that were, to them, no longer material. Venture was sold to Centrica for over $2 billion following a hostile takeover. At the time of the takeover Venture was producing 45,000 boepd and had reserves of 225 mmb.

Bruce is a Geologist and studied at Aberdeen University. He began his career with Exxon as a Geophysicist in the North Sea before moving to London and Scottish Marine Oil (“Lasmo”) where he held numerous senior management roles in its South-East Asian operations.
