Mr. Chan possesses over 26 years of experience in investment banking, financial advisory services and private equity. He has been involved in public offerings, leveraged acquisitions, fund formations, corporate reorganization & financial restructuring and distressed debt acquisitions.
Mr. Chan is currently the Chief Investment Officer for Voyager Capital and is focused on managing their fixed income fund which primarily makes debt investments or acquisitions in real estate, transportation and education.
Prior to joining Voyager Capital, Mr. Chan was a Managing Director with Sofaer Capital based in Hong Kong. Prior to Sofaer Capital, Mr. Chan was with firms such as UBS Warburg, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, LionCao (multi-family office), Chanin Capital (Drexel Burnham) in Hong Kong and New York primarily focused on fixed income and distressed acquisitions in real estate and transportation.
Mr. Chan earned a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Southern California.
