Cailey Barker is a Director in the BlackRock Natural Resources team, covering the mining sector. He has over 20 years’ experience in the mining & finance industry, originally as an exploration geologist in Africa. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Barker was a senior mining analyst at a number of sell-side institutions including Numis Securities, Royal Bank of Canada, as well as an industry consultant, Brook Hunt (now Wood Mackenzie). He holds a BSc in Geology, an MSc in Mineral Deposit Evaluation from the Royal School of Mines, and is also a Fellow of The Geological Society, a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and a Member of The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
