The Lake Chilwa mineral system is located in southern Malawi. The Chilwa Critical Minerals Project hosts significant mineral sands mineralization, with sonic drilling commencing in 2023 to expand and increase the quality of the existing mineral resource. Since listing on the ASX in July 2023 drilling at the various deposits has intersected thicker sequences with higher grades and high-quality mineral assemblage of value minerals.
Rare earth mineralization has also been identified within the clay profile along with 47 carbonatite anomalies via a geophysics program undertaken in 2024.The area is well known for carbonatite-hosted REE mineralization.

Mr Cadell Buss – Founder and Managing Director
Cadell is a multi-industry executive with over 20 years’ experience in marketing, project development and capital markets. Cadell was the CEO of DJ Carmichael and has consulted to ASX listed companies with African based assets. He was recently the Project & Finance Director of Luso Global Mining. Cadell is a Non-Executive Director of Atlas Pearls Ltd (ASX:ATP).
Dr Alexander Shaw – Non-Executive Chairman
Alexander is an accomplished geologist with +15 years of global experience in exploration and production. He has spent most of his career exploring for and developing diamond, base and precious metal deposits within Africa, Central and South America. Alexander is the Managing Director of Luso Global Mining.
What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?
The Company has significantly increased the prospects of this asset moving towards a significant, multi commodity critical minerals asset – all within one large land holdings. Teh company has significant news flow coming via resource upgrades of the mineral sands and assays from Rare Earth drilling. Given the recent rising awareness of Rare Earth supply and demand, the company thought it prudent to expose ourselves to the US market and potential investors that support companies that have a quality Tier 1 asset.

3 Months:
Upgrade a large percentage of our HMS resource from Inferred to Indicated
Produce Assay Results a number of the 47 carbonatite targets
6 Months:
Complete a Scoping Study on the HMS resource
A MRE on one or two of the chosen REE targets
Commence Pre-Feasibility Study
Complete negotiations with the government on Mining Development Agreement
Develop dry port agreement with our major shareholder
12 Months:
Complete Pre-Feasibility Study on HMS

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
There are always risks and challenges
However, our major shareholder is a very large multi-national that has been operating in Malawi for 35 years. Their assistance in managing local risk and their desires to push this to be a project greatly assists in managing and mitigating risk
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
We believe we have a Tier 1 asset in a good jurisdiction and are well supported by our major shareholder. Additionally, we have a very good capital structure and well supported by our top 20 shareholders. Our asset is well located with major infrastructure, via commercial railway giving access to seaport in neighboring country. With the vast amount of news flow coming, we believe we are dramatically undervalued for stage of our asset.
