Cora Gold is a new gold exploration company focused on two world class gold regions in Mali and Senegal in West Africa. Cora Gold’s highly experienced and successful management team, led by MD and CEO Dr Jon Forster, has a proven track record in making multi-million ounce gold discoveries which have been developed into profitable mines.
Dr Forster has over 35 years of grass roots exploration experience with the last 25 years focused almost exclusively on West Africa. Dr Forster and his team have been personally responsible for the discovery of 8 million ounces of gold with all deposits near to or in production.
What is your rationale for attending 121 Mining Investment?
Cora is looking to meet institutional investors with risk appetite for advanced exploration in West Africa. The Company is presently fully funded to undertake its aggressive exploration plans, but will likely look to raise further capital towards the end of 2018.

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?
Step out drilling at Sanankoro to complement previously completed recconnaissance drilling to highlight true potential of 14km of identified strike at Sanankoro.
Stretch target of maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Sanankoro. Build on the discoveries at Kouroudian and Woyoni.
12 Months:Identify drill targets to further delineate and grow the our maiden resource resource.
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
The key for Cora Gold is to continue drilling and continue to pursue the new discoveries at Woyoni and Kouroudian as well as the company’s flagship project Sanakoro. With follow up infill and extensional RC programmes being planned as well as core drilling which will help understand the new systems. As a newly listed company, we have been driven by our ability to generate news flow in the form of drilling results and that is our sole focus.
In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
The Sanankoro Discovery, which was discovered through an extensive recconnaisance drilling program, has identified two, broad, parallel gold bearing structures that each extend over 14km of strike. The exploration program will be managed by a highly experienced team of geologists with extensive experience exploring in Mali.
