Kodiak Copper Corp is focused on its 100% owned copper porphyry projects in Canada and the USA. Backed by a successful team – founded by Chris Taylor (Great Bear Resources),  part of John Robin’s Discovery Group  and led by Claudia Tornquist. Kodiak is currently executing on a large fully funded ~25,000m drill program at its MPD copper-gold porphyry project in the prolific Quesnel Trough in southern British Columbia, Canada. Plans include building on the high-grade Gate Zone discovery plus testing other target areas with similar discovery potential and value impact as the Gate Zone.

Claudia Tornquist, M.Eng, MBA – President and CEO, Director
Formerly General Manager at Rio Tinto working with Rio Tinto’s copper operations. Also held the position of Executive Vice President Business Development for the streaming company Sandstorm Gold. Director of Silver One Resources and former director of Kennady Diamonds, leading the $176m sale of the company to Mountain Province as chair of the special committee of the board.

Sept 29-22 – Kodiak Drills 1.03% CuEq Over 117 m, within 0.34% CuEq Over 735.4 m at Gate Zone, and Discovers New Trend at Prime Zone – steady flow of drill results expected

 

Sept 13-22 – A rig has been mobilized to the Dillard area where drilling commenced in 2021 with two holes and early results from the 2022 3D Induced Polarization (3D IP) work have already identified new high-priority drill targets situated within a 2.7 kilometre long copper-in-soil anomaly. 

 

Jun 29-22 – Kodiak Reports Infill Drilling from Southern Gate Zone: Kodiak expects to achieve up to 25,000 metres of drilling in multiple target areas before year-end – Fully Funded

 

May 4-22 – Kodiak Intersects Shallow Higher-Grade Copper Gold Mineralization in First Holes at Dillard, Confirms Significant Porphyry Target: 0.63% CuEq Over 21.0 m, Within 0.23% CuEq Over 381.1 m 

 

Mar 31-22 – Kodiak Closes Oversubscribed Upsized Bought Deal Financing and Non-Brokered Private Placement for Gross Proceeds of C$9.6 Million bringing Treasury to ~$18M

What are your key goals in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months?

3 Months:
Complete ~25,000m drill program with the objective of increasing size of Gate Zone discovery and test several other targets with similar discovery potential

 

6 Months:
Further drilling results successfully adding size to the Gate Zone discover.  Potential for new discoveries at several targets on the property.  

 

12 Months:
Confirmation of the district-scale potential at the multi-centre porphyry system at MPD. Maiden drill program on our Mohave Project in Arizona.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Current overall market uncertainty – Kodiak will continue to market the opportunity as it is well positioned financially and has  numerous opportunities to add value for our shareholders
