Matador Mining is an exploration company focused on making gold discoveries in Newfoundland, Canada. The Company is one of only four gold companies with a defined gold Mineral Resource, currently 837,000 ounces grading 2 grams per tonne. Matador is well positioned with an extensive land package comprising 120-kilometres of continuous strike along the under-explored, multi-million-ounce Cape Ray Shear, a prolific gold structure in Newfoundland that currently hosts several major mineral deposits. Additionally, the Company holds 27-kilometres of continuous strike at the Hermitage prospect which is located on the highly prospective Hermitage Flexure.

Sam Pazuki – Managing Director & CEO
Sam Pazuki commenced his tenure as Managing Director and CEO on 1 May 2022. Sam is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master of Finance. He has a proven track record and experience in strategy, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and investor relations. He joined the Company after nearly ten years with dual-listed OceanaGold Corporation (ASX: OGC and TSX: OGC) where he led the Investor Relations and Corporate Development functions most recently as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. Sam helped establish OceanaGold as a global mid-tier gold producer and was instrumental in OceanaGold’s expansion into North America. He helped build a global shareholder register and was OceanaGold’s primary interface with the capital markets.

What is your rationale for taking part in 121 Mining Investment?

The Matador Mining story is one that was previously not well told or understood. With one of the largest land packages in Newfoundland, an emerging top-tier jurisdiction, an existing gold resource and globally supported by significant shareholders, we are well placed to make significant discoveries. London has always been a great place for gold investors and we are looking to tell our story to these investors.
