Mithril is focused on exploration at its district scale Copalquin property in Sierra Madre Gold-Silver Trend of Mexico. The Property is located in Durango state, covers 70km2 and hosts over 70 historic mines and workings. Copalquin is a silver district with high-grade gold. Two years of drilling since July 2020 produced a high-grade maiden resource (JORC & NI 43-101) of over 520 koz AuEq at the first target area with scope to double this in the near term. There are geological indications of a further 2 to 3 resource targets of similar size in the district. Drilling is scheduled to recommence in May 2024 following the successful completion of a recent restructure and financing.

John Skeet – Mithril’s CEO & MD
Mr. Skeet has been Mithril’s CEO & MD since 2020. He has over 30 years’ experience in gold-silver mining, both in management of operations and developing projects in Australia, Republic of Georgia and Mexico. He successfully developed Ballarat East, Quartzite Gold in Georgia, and Palmarejo Silver Gold Mine in Mexico, prior to the $1.2B Coeur Mining takeover and was COO of Cerro Resources prior to its takeover by Primero Mining. He has over 18 years’ experience in Mexico. He founded Sun Minerals in 2017 and acquired the option to purchase the Copalquin Project in Mexico. He holds a B.App.Sc degree (Met.) and is a Fellow of the AusIMM.
